Rushing into Russian: The Alphabet
So, I haven't done an actually helpful lifestyle post in a while, but now "Helpful Hannah" is back, and she's planning on teaching you Russian. Yes, it's a longshot, and no, you will not be fluent in Russian by the end of these posts (I'm doing a series of posts), but if you try your best and putin some effort, maybe you'll at least get the gist of things.
Lesson 1: The Alphabet
I know what you're thinking: Come on, Hannah, another paragraph? I wanna learn! Quit stalin and teach me the alphabet! Don't worry though, this is just a quick note. One thing that could be either helpful or confusing is the fact that some of the letters of the Russian alphabet are the same ones that are in the English alphabet, but have different pronounciations, so pay close attention to which ones are which. Also, one of the Russian letters is a number. No pressure.
*the pronounciation/explanation will be in parenthesis
